Olympic Food Challenge no 15 Bosnia and Herzegovina- Cevapcici

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country in Southeastern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula.

Bordered by Croatia to the north, west and south, Serbia to the east, and Montenegro to the southeast, Bosnia and Herzegovina is almost landlocked, except for the 20 kilometres (12 miles) of coastline on the Adriatic Sea surrounding the town of Neum.

Now I do love a good burger, and with us finally having a bit of a summer, I could not believe my luck to stumble across this recipe.

Cevapcici (pronounced “che-vap-chee-chee”) are ground meat patties traditionally made with equal amounts of beef, veal.

I made my Cevapcici with just lamb and beef. The recipe I found did not have any measurements (helpful)

I am not sure if it was the addition of baking soda that made the difference or just the fact that it was a Beef, lamb combination but, we will be popping them on the BBQ soon.
